A 17-year-old has been arrested following an armed robbery at a gas station on Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis, where he allegedly struck a woman in the face with a gun. Officers of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded swiftly to the scene, ensuring that the injured woman received medical attention while preserving the crime scene for investigation.
During the pursuit, officers apprehended the teenager and recovered two firearms, one of which was identified as stolen from the woman. The suspect faces multiple charges, including armed robbery and battery with a deadly weapon, as well as drug possession.
