A teenager from Jefferson City has been charged with several felonies after being certified as an adult by the Cole County Prosecutor’s Office. Ronal Holliday Jr., born in 2007, faces serious charges including first-degree accessory to robbery and accessory to armed criminal action related to an alleged armed robbery that took place on January 13. He is now among several individuals charged in connection with the incident, which reportedly involved multiple suspects entering a vehicle and robbing the occupants at gunpoint.
During the alleged robbery, Holliday was accused of retrieving a gun and bringing armed accomplices to the scene, where threats were made against the victims, including an apparent attempt to fire a weapon that malfunctioned. A bond review hearing for one of the co-defendants is scheduled for early April, while law enforcement continues to investigate the incident that saw six guns, three of which were stolen, recovered at the scene. This case highlights the escalating youth involvement in serious crime in the area.
