Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, are arrested in San Jose for allegedly robbing a peer attempting to sell high-end sneakers online. The incident occurred on May 21 when the victim was confronted by the suspects, who brandished a firearm and stole two pairs of shoes before firing a shot as they fled, though the victim was unharmed.
Following a thorough investigation, detectives linked the suspects to the crime using various pieces of evidence, including a privately-made firearm found during searches of their residences. They were apprehended on June 19 and are now facing serious charges of armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon in juvenile court.
