Police in North Charleston have arrested three individuals in relation to a pair of armed robberies that occurred on July 5 on Sumner Avenue. The suspects—19-year-old Armari Washington and 18-year-olds Nizhier Baldwin and Zanquel Baldwin—are charged with armed robbery and attempted armed robbery following incidents where victims were threatened with a gun and knife.
In the first robbery, a victim was coerced to an ATM at gunpoint, while another victim was robbed shortly thereafter at knifepoint. Authorities urge any other potential victims from the Remount Road or Charleston Farms areas to come forward, as detectives work to unravel the full extent of these crimes. This arrest highlights ongoing efforts to combat violent crime in the region.
