Authorities have arrested two of three suspects involved in a series of armed robberies in Columbus, Ohio, linked to seven incidents over a five-week period during the summer of 2024. Malachi Bowers and Sean West face severe charges, including seven counts of aggravated robbery and six counts, respectively, in cases that involved terrifying store clerks at gunpoint within just hours of each other on multiple occasions.
The string of robberies began with an attempted break-in at a gas station, escalating to violent encounters at various auto parts stores and a Dollar General. Following extensive police investigations, including video surveillance analysis, the suspects now face significant legal repercussions, with bonds set at $1.5 million each. The third suspect, Lamonte Rayford, remains in custody on unrelated charges and has not yet been formally charged in connection with these robberies.
