Flagler County authorities have arrested three teenagers, including a victim turned suspect, connected to an armed robbery case that occurred in May. Sixteen-year-old Chimale Santiago-Thomas allegedly threatened the victim with a handgun, demanding their belongings in a parking lot at European Village, leading to serious charges including robbery with a firearm and grand theft.
Following the robbery, both Santiago-Thomas and another teen were apprehended shortly afterward, while the victim was later arrested for possession of a firearm by a minor. All three teens have been booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility and are now under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, highlighting the complexities of youth crime in the area.
