Trio Arrested After East Ridge Armed Robbery

Three teenagers were apprehended after committing an armed robbery at a convenience store in East Ridge, Tennessee. The suspects fired shots at the store clerk during the incident on March 20, but fortunately, no one was injured. After fleeing in a vehicle, they were spotted by a Chattanooga Police Department officer and attempted to escape on foot when their getaway was blocked.

It was K9 Sully and his handler who played a crucial role in tracking down the two remaining suspects, aged 13 and 14, following their flight. All three individuals now face serious charges, including attempted murder and aggravated robbery. This incident highlights the effective collaboration between police and K9 units in rapidly responding to violent crimes in the community.
