Two San Luis Obispo County residents were arrested last week in connection with a significant drug trafficking operation, leading to the seizure of nearly 12 pounds of illegal narcotics and three handguns. An extensive monthlong investigation by the Atascadero Police Department culminated in searches of two locations, uncovering approximately $178,000 worth of drugs, including fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine.

The police emphasized the operation’s success in disrupting a major drug network and thanked local law enforcement partners for their collaboration. This significant bust shines a light on ongoing drug-related issues within the community and highlights the efforts being made to combat trafficking.
