Two Laurel men, Tyjah Jenkins, 22, and Richelson Charles, 25, face felony charges after police connected them to a recent shooting incident. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Holly Brook Apartment Complex and later pulled over a vehicle, identifying the occupants as suspects in the case.
During the traffic stop, police detected signs of impairment in Jenkins and subsequently arrested both men. A search of their vehicle yielded substantial evidence, including 1,125 grams of marijuana, two digital scales, and two loaded handguns. Both men are currently being held at Sussex Correctional Institution with significant bail amounts set.
