Two Arrested in Sonoma County Drug and Weapons Bust

Sonoma County deputies have arrested Jacob Brunetta, 25, and Alexander Vassar, 36, during a drug and weapons investigation in Santa Rosa. The arrest follows an executed search warrant where deputies allege Brunetta attempted to flee, discarding over half a pound of cocaine and leading to the seizure of firearms, including a ghost gun, along with psilocybin mushrooms and high-capacity magazines.

Brunetta faces several felony charges, such as possession of cocaine and psilocybin with intent to sell while armed, and was held on $25,000 bail. Vassar was charged with cocaine possession and released with a citation. This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding illegal firearms and drug trafficking in the region.
