Two juveniles, aged 12 and 13, are now in custody after an unloaded gun was discovered in a backpack at Capitol Middle Magnet School in Baton Rouge. According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, the sixth graders face charges for illegal carrying of a firearm on school property and illegal handgun possession by a juvenile.
