Jeffrey Caldwell, a 36-year-old Vallejo resident, has been indicted on charges of illegal possession of ammunition following a tense standoff with the Vallejo Police Department’s SWAT team. Authorities discovered that Caldwell possessed a privately manufactured firearm, commonly referred to as a ghost gun, in addition to ammunition, despite his extensive criminal history which includes over ten felony convictions across California and Arizona.
In the wake of his indictment, Caldwell could face a maximum of 15 years in prison and a significant fine if convicted.
