In a letter to House leadership, Wilson highlights the significant public safety benefits of this measure, noting that many law-abiding citizens face felony charges for legal conduct simply by crossing state lines. The coalition’s letter points out that while concealed carry licensees tend to be more law-abiding than the general public, the criminalization of technical violations remains unacceptable.
