Chicago police arrested a woman late Thursday night after she shot a 40-year-old man in the abdomen during a dispute in an apartment on South Oglesby Avenue. The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he is currently in fair condition.
Officers arrived on the scene to find the woman still present, and they recovered a firearm, confirming she possesses a valid FOID card and concealed carry license. The investigation is ongoing, with additional charges pending as detectives from Area One look into the incident further.
