Jayla Call, a 31-year-old woman, has been charged with two felonies related to the recent Mifflin Township police shooting that left two officers injured. Call faces charges of obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence as authorities allege she attempted to alter crucial records in the case involving Devontae Dixon, the 21-year-old suspect who allegedly opened fire on the officers during a traffic stop.
Call was apprehended on May 31, and her connection to Dixon is underscored by the shared address of an apartment in Obetz, where Dixon was found after reportedly injuring himself. Currently held at the Franklin County Corrections Center, Call is set for arraignment on June 2, with no bond established yet for her case.
