Woman Shot After Being Followed from Work in Philly

A 23-year-old woman is recovering in the hospital after a frightening incident in Philadelphia, where police say she was pursued by an unknown vehicle and shot in the head early Saturday morning. The woman reported that as she was driving home from her job in King of Prussia, a black Nissan with heavily tinted windows began to follow her on Interstate 76 East, later continuing onto I-676 East.

Near the 400 block of N. 5th St., the driver of the Nissan allegedly exited the car and fired multiple shots into the woman’s vehicle, striking her in the left side of her forehead before fleeing the scene. No crime scene was located by responding officers, and police have not released any details regarding the suspect. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
