Woman Shot at Salina Motel, Suspect Sought by Police

In Salina, police are on the hunt for a suspect following the shooting of a 39-year-old woman at the Budget King Motel. The incident occurred on March 18th around 9:30 PM when the woman, while visiting friends, was shot in the lower-left leg by a male acquaintance who fled the scene after the attack.

According to Police Captain Mike Miller, the victim was transported to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment, and authorities have identified the suspect, whose name has not yet been disclosed. The ongoing investigation raises community concerns about safety and highlights the need for swift justice in violent incidents.
