Khanna police have arrested 11 individuals, including two women, in a significant crackdown on drug trafficking and illegal arms. The operation resulted in the seizure of 10 grams of heroin, a country-made .32-bore pistol, and two luxury vehicles, including a black Fortuner, along with Rs 2 lakh in suspected drug money.
Senior Superintendent of Police Jyoti Yadav revealed that the arrests followed a routine checkpoint operation, during which police discovered drugs hidden in a vehicle’s dashboard. Further investigations uncovered a wider network operating through encrypted messaging platforms and communication with individuals incarcerated in jails, facilitating an organized crime operation that spanned multiple states.
