Construction on the Archbald Borough Veterans Monument Park is poised to resume as temperatures rise, according to park committee Chairman Rob Turlip. Launched in 2016, this tribute aims to feature a striking black granite wall etched with the names and service details of nearly 500 veterans, alongside various statues and decommissioned military equipment.

Funded by local grants totaling $401,643, the park committee also organizes events to raise additional funds, such as a pasta dinner on May 3. Turlip expects significant progress by summer, creating a space that honors the sacrifices of U.S. service members.
