Armed Robbery at South Carolina Restaurant Leads to Arrest

North Charleston police have arrested 35-year-old Kevin Lamar Scott for allegedly robbing Ranias Restaurant on Stall Road shortly after 2 p.m. on Sunday. According to police reports, Scott entered the establishment armed with a weapon and threatened staff as he stole cash from the register before fleeing the scene.

Officers later located Scott attempting to evade capture by riding a bicycle and then running on foot along Midland Park Road. His quick apprehension highlights the responsiveness of local law enforcement in addressing armed robbery incidents, a serious crime that can impact community safety. Scott now faces charges of armed robbery and is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
