Milwaukee police have arrested a 19-year-old man after a dramatic chase connected to an armed robbery that unfolded on Wednesday afternoon. The pursuit began around 2:45 p.m. when officers identified a vehicle linked to the robbery near Oakland and Hampshire on the city’s east side.
The chase, captured by Wisconsin Department of Transportation traffic cameras, covered a distance of roughly two-and-a-half miles before ending near Keefe and Atkinson, where the suspect attempted to flee on foot. While police have not disclosed specific details about the robbery or what was taken, charges against the suspect will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for further action.
