Both girls have outstanding warrants for armed robbery and are facing additional charges from Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) police. As parents demand answers regarding how the girls accessed the bus, APS acknowledges a procedural breach and is considering new safety measures, including requiring students to carry school IDs.
