South Congaree Police have arrested 20-year-old Nathaniel Wayne Thomas in connection with an armed robbery that targeted a local business and involved multiple victims, including a two-year-old girl. Authorities confirm that both Thomas and co-defendant Antwan Sumter Jr. face several serious charges, including armed robbery with a deadly weapon and criminal conspiracy.
After his arrest, Thomas was released from jail on a $23,000 surety bond, while law enforcement continues to actively pursue Sumter, who remains at large. The police urge the public to assist in the investigation by reporting any information regarding Sumter’s whereabouts.
