Aurora Police Renew Hunt in 2022 House Party Shooting

Aurora police continue to seek leads in the unsolved homicide of 35-year-old Jose Alberto Bautista-Marquez, who was fatally shot at a house party on January 30, 2022. Despite ongoing investigations, no suspects have been publicly identified or arrested, leaving family and friends still searching for answers more than three years later.

Detectives urge anyone with information about the case to step forward, offering several ways for tips to be submitted, including through Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, where informants can remain anonymous and may receive a reward of up to $2,000. This case remains one of the many troubling incidents that highlight the persistent challenge of solving violent crimes in the community.
