Jibril A. Ball, a 22-year-old man from Philadelphia, is arrested following a high-speed chase initiated during a routine traffic stop in Chester linked to an armed robbery warrant. After discovering Ball was wanted, officers attempted the stop around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, but he fled in his black Subaru Legacy, prompting a pursuit that culminated in a tactical maneuver to halt his vehicle on West Fourth Street.
During the arrest, authorities found Ball in possession of illegal substances, leading to multiple charges including DUI and reckless endangerment. He is currently held at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility on a $200,000 bail, as police continue their investigation into the robbery for which he is sought. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 16, adding to the intrigue surrounding this case.
