The incident was reported shortly after 5 a.m. near Northwest First Avenue and Sixth Street, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and Miami Fire Rescue personnel.
The woman sustained gunshot wounds to her legs and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, although her condition has not yet been disclosed. Authorities discovered the deceased man at the scene while establishing a crime scene perimeter.
