Federal law enforcement officials have seized over 100,000 fentanyl pills, dozens of firearms, and more than $100,000 in cash during a crackdown that culminated in a raid at a daycare facility in Vallejo. This operation is part of an extensive investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the FBI, leading to the arrest of eight individuals, including the daycare operator, who faces child endangerment charges.

As the city grapples with rising concerns over gang-related activities, local officials express hope that recent arrests and collaborative efforts with federal agencies will create a safer environment for families.
