North Bay police have arrested five residents, including three women and two men, and seized over $25,000 worth of illegal drugs and firearms in a significant operation. The arrests follow an investigation into drug trafficking that led to the execution of a search warrant at a Trout Lake Road residence, where officers uncovered a dangerous cache that included 95 grams of fentanyl and a sawed-off shotgun.
The seized weapons also consisted of multiple handguns capable of firing large ball bearings, demonstrating the severity of the offense. Each individual faces numerous charges related to drug trafficking and firearms possession, raising concerns about local safety and crime rates.
