Hyde Park police arrest 37-year-old Theodore T. Lutz Jr. for allegedly possessing a ghost gun along with multiple rounds of ammunition near a McDonald’s on Sunday. Responding to reports of a suspicious person, officers discover Lutz has an active arrest warrant and observe what appears to be a handgun in his waistband.

During the arrest attempt, Lutz resists, leading to a brief physical altercation before officers take him into custody without injuries. Lutz is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and several misdemeanors, with bail set at $50,000.
