Man, 21, Shot Multiple Times in Syracuse Neighborhood

A 21-year-old man is recovering in stable condition after being shot multiple times in Syracuse’s Otisco Street on Thursday evening. Police responded to a shots-fired call around 5:02 p.m. and discovered the victim with gunshot wounds to his leg and arm, later transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment.

This incident is particularly concerning, as it marks the third shooting in Syracuse within a single week, following a fatal incident involving a 61-year-old man near Armory Square. Law enforcement urges anyone with information about the shootings to contact their criminal investigations division at (315) 442-5222, highlighting a growing concern for community safety.
