Man Shot in Lowell Home Dies from Injuries

A 50-year-old man, Tige Dyer, was fatally shot in his Lowell home Saturday morning, prompting an investigation by local authorities. Police were called to the scene on Cumberland Road around 11:10 a.m. and discovered Dyer suffering from a gunshot wound, after which he was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office reports that initial findings indicate the shooting is an isolated incident, although no arrests have been made as of yet. Law enforcement encourages anyone with information regarding the incident to reach out to Lowell police, highlighting the community’s role in aiding the ongoing investigation.
