The “Remembrance Conference” highlighted the devastating impact of gun violence on communities, especially following tragic incidents like the Tops mass shooting. With gun violence identified as the leading cause of death among teens and young children, participants emphasized the importance of proactive measures in healthcare settings, ranging from suicide prevention to securing firearms safely at home.
