Military Weapons Seized in Southern California Raid

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has seized a cache of military-grade firearms, including an ArmaLite AR-50 anti-materiel rifle, during a recent raid in Camarillo, California. Law enforcement identified 38-year-old Jaqueline Randall as a suspect linked to a prior assault with a deadly weapon, leading to an expansive search of her home, vehicles, and a storage unit.

During the investigation, deputies uncovered an alarming collection of 42 firearms along with thousands of rounds of ammunition and numerous high-capacity magazines stored illegally. Notably, the AR-50 rifle, capable of penetrating vehicles and fortified positions, is chambered for .50 caliber ammunition, often used in military applications. Randall faces charges for unlawful possession and transfer of firearms following her arrest, raising concerns about the potential misuse of such powerful weapons.
