NOPD Investigates Gunpoint Robbery in New Orleans East

The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is actively investigating a gunpoint robbery that occurred in New Orleans East. The incident took place near the Michoud Blvd and I-10 East onramp when a man reported that he was threatened with a firearm by someone he had just been to the gun range with.

According to police reports, the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the victim’s head, demanding he leave his bag and exit the vehicle. After the robbery, the assailant fled the scene, leaving the victim in shock. NOPD is urging anyone with information about this incident to contact Crime Stoppers to aid in their investigation.
