Portland Tagger Convicted for Illegal Gun Manufacturing

A Portland graffiti tagger, known as ‘Bier’ and identified as 45-year-old Jacob Ramos, is found guilty of multiple gun-related charges stemming from a two-year police investigation into chronic vandalism. This inquiry, initiated in the summer of 2021, culminated in a dramatic search of Ramos’ home in April 2023, where authorities discovered ten firearms, including ghost guns and a 3D-printed weapon, alongside body armor and ammunition.

Ramos faces a total of 22 counts related to unlawfully manufacturing firearms, as well as being a felon in possession of multiple guns. While he was convicted on June 25, 2025, the police continue to investigate ongoing graffiti allegations against him, hinting at a larger pattern of criminal activity tied to his vandalism efforts.
