Rohnert Park Man Arrested for Gunfire Near Highway

A 27-year-old man from Rohnert Park is in custody after allegedly firing a gun across Rohnert Park Expressway and striking a nearby business late Tuesday night. Christopher Foy was arrested following a 911 call from a concerned resident who reported gunfire and a woman crying before the sound of a single shot.

Officers quickly responded and located Foy inside his apartment, detaining him without incident. Fortunately, the female involved was found safe, and no injuries were reported at the struck business, which was unoccupied at the time. Foy faces charges for discharging a firearm at an inhabited dwelling and other related offenses, raising concern about public safety in the area.
