A 17-year-old from Roseville is facing serious charges related to an alleged armed robbery of a victim on a minibike in Mount Clemens. The incident, which took place on May 7, escalates from the teen reportedly pointing a firearm at the victim and threatening to use it if the minibike was not surrendered.
After acquiring the minibike and attempting to flee in a Chevy Trax, local authorities engaged in a police chase that ended in a crash. The juvenile’s weapon, initially thought to be a firearm, was later identified as a pneumatic airsoft gun resembling a Glock. Charged with multiple felonies, including armed robbery and fleeing a police officer, the teen has a bond set at $50,000, with a probable cause conference scheduled for May 27.
