A South Carolina teen faces multiple charges after fleeing from deputies during a traffic stop in Richland County. When officers initiated the stop for lighting violations, the passenger of the vehicle fled on foot, reaching for items in his waistband and discarding them as he ran, authorities report.
Law enforcement recovered an orange pill bottle containing over ten pills, a firearm modified to be fully automatic, and small baggies of narcotics nearby. The unnamed teen, arrested on serious charges including possession of a machine gun and intent to distribute marijuana, has been taken to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
