Police in Memphis have arrested 18-year-old Dantabreil Hoskins for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred over the weekend in the Nutbush area. Hoskins faces multiple charges, including aggravated robbery and evading arrest, following a dramatic incident at an Exxon gas station where he and two accomplices reportedly threatened a victim at gunpoint before fleeing in the victim’s vehicle.
The situation escalated early Sunday morning when officers began pursuing the stolen vehicle after receiving reports of the crime. A traffic stop attempt led to a chase that ended in a crash, resulting in three suspects fleeing the scene. While two suspects were captured, Hoskins is currently held in jail on a $200,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court soon. The case sheds light on increasing concerns about youth involvement in serious crimes in the area.
