A 15-year-old boy is charged with armed robbery following his alleged involvement in two back-to-back robberies last week in Northeast Washington, D.C. The incidents occurred just minutes apart on July 1, with the suspects approaching victims and one brandishing a rifle, demanding cash and personal items.
During the first robbery, the perpetrators took money from a victim at gunpoint, while in the second, they forcibly searched another victim’s pockets, stealing $400 in cash. The Metropolitan Police Department has not yet identified two other suspects involved in these crimes and is urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
