Dover Police apprehend two individuals following a swift foot chase during a firearm investigation on Monday afternoon. The suspects, a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old male, face charges including Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Illegal Gang Participation after detectives uncovered a total of four handguns in their possession.
During the pursuit, the younger suspect discarded a 9mm SCCY handgun, while the older suspect, William Friends, was found with multiple firearms including a stolen 9mm SCCY handgun in a backpack. Both suspects are currently held on bail, with Friends having a secured bail set at $8,200, and the teen released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
