Two individuals, a 25-year-old man from Toronto and a 32-year-old woman from North Bay, are arrested after a significant drug and weapon seizure. In an operation conducted by the North Bay Police Service and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, authorities recovered a loaded Glock 19 handgun, various drugs—including cocaine and fentanyl—and over $1,000 in cash from residences linked to drug trafficking.
Police initiated the investigation earlier this year, targeting illegal drug activities in the area. The arrested suspects face multiple charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and firearms offenses. The total estimated value of the seized items is around $9,110, highlighting the ongoing battle against the spread of drug-related crime in both urban and rural communities across Ontario.
