Metro Nashville Police have arrested Jalan Armstrong, 27, and Antoine Anderson, 39, in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a gas station on Gallatin Pike on May 8. The incident escalated when a 45-year-old man suffered a serious gunshot wound during a struggle for the gun involved in the robbery.
Police reported that Armstrong confessed to the robbery, claiming the victim owed him money, while Anderson was identified as the getaway driver. Both suspects are now facing charges of especially aggravated robbery and remain in custody with bond set at $75,000 each, prompting concerns about escalating violence in the area.
