Two illegal immigrants from Venezuela, 26-year-old Carlos Daniel Davalillo-Silva and 32-year-old Paola Alexandra Rodriguez, are charged with aiding and abetting the possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in Kentucky. Following a recent search warrant executed at their residence in Hopkinsville, authorities discovered three pounds of meth, as well as two firearms associated with Rodriguez, raising significant legal concerns about their actions and immigration status.
The pair, both confirmed to have entered the United States illegally, now face federal charges that could lead to a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years. The gravity of their offenses is underscored by the fact that federal judges can impose sentences of up to life in prison for such crimes, with no possibility of parole. This case is currently under investigation by multiple federal agencies, including the DEA and HSI.
