A 20-year-old man from Rochester, Da’Zyllon Kordae Eugene Williams, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for making terroristic threats involving a ghost gun, a firearm constructed from a kit and lacking a serial number. This sentencing follows an incident last April, where police responded to domestic assault reports that included a gun threat, eventually leading to the discovery of the weapon and other firearm-related items during a search of his home and vehicle.
Investigators found not only a Polymer 80 Pistol but also a handgun magazine and a gun cleaning kit in Williams’s possession. Although initially charged with multiple counts, including possession as an ineligible person, Williams pleaded guilty to the threats charge in exchange for the dismissal of others last November. His prior juvenile conviction for robbery likely contributed to his current sentencing, raising concerns about youth involvement in gun-related crimes.
