Vidalia Police have apprehended a 29-year-old man, Iran Darna Harris, following an armed robbery at Captain D’s on Saturday night. The incident escalated as Harris fled on foot, prompting a chase that ended shortly after officers were dispatched.
Authorities recovered a firearm near the scene, which had been illegally modified to operate as a fully automatic handgun. Harris faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and armed robbery, and is currently in custody at the Toombs County Jail awaiting his first appearance.
