Four Plead Guilty in St. Louis Firearms and Drug Case

Four individuals have pleaded guilty in a federal case involving the sale of illegal machine guns and narcotics to an undercover agent in St. Louis. Part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative, the investigation uncovered the defendants’ connections to a network selling machine gun conversion devices, which were marketed online, as well as various drugs, including methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Among those charged, Reginald Smith faces multiple counts for possession of machine guns and aiding meth distribution, following a sting operation initiated after authorities identified his online transactions. As this case emphasizes the broader fight against gun violence and drug trafficking, Smith’s sentencing is scheduled for May 15, with potential penalties that highlight the serious implications of such offenses on community safety.
