Illegal Guns and Bomb-Making Materials Found in San Jose

San Jose police arrest Jacob Lafaver, 28, after responding to a reported break-in at his home, where they uncover a cache of illegal firearms and bomb-making materials. Officers initially arrived at the scene after Lafaver called them, claiming an armed intruder was inside; however, they did not find anyone else present and later determined that he may have been hallucinating.

During a subsequent search warrant execution, authorities find multiple firearms, including several ghost guns and stolen weapons, along with suspected fentanyl, body armor, and bomb-making precursors. Lafaver faces multiple charges for firearms violations and possession of explosive materials, with bail set at $290,000 as he awaits court appearance.
