A Manteca man, 45-year-old Robert Christian Small, has been arrested for allegedly shooting at a vehicle on Interstate 80, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Wednesday when the victim reported being fired upon, providing authorities with a description of both the suspect and his vehicle.
Shortly after the shooting, Vacaville Police located Small and arrested him, recovering a loaded ghost gun with a threaded barrel at the scene. He now faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and illegal possession of an unregistered firearm. This incident underscores the CHP’s commitment to tackling roadway violence, emphasizing that such reckless behavior jeopardizes innocent lives.
