A 19-year-old Henrietta man, Dominic Migliorini, is facing serious gun charges after deputies discovered he received illegal firearms and machine gun conversion kits shipped from China. U.S. Customs and Border Protection flagged suspicious packages delivered to Rochester, leading to a search of Migliorini’s home, where law enforcement officials recovered a staggering cache of weaponry, including 30 conversion devices and four assault rifles.
The investigation revealed a total of 25 counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon against Migliorini, who is currently held on $25,000 bail. As authorities continue to delve into the case, questions arise about how these packages slipped past customs and what other illegal firearms may be circulating in the community.
